After a brief hiatus, she returned to this work in 1994 and continues to support the next generation through community-led learning and cultural programming. Mary is a dedicated member of the Saticoy Chumash Turtle Clan that welcomes all who wish to join in cultural revitalization and education. Today, she focuses on organizing classes and gatherings that bring people together to learn, connect, and carry Chumash knowledge forward.
